Hej Anders

Tack för klargörandet. Vi utgick från den information om extendrarna som Canon själva anger på sin webbsida. Men din info verkar vettigare.

Vänliga hälsningar

Hi Alan
Nice to see that your experience of Canon's extenders matches ours. We also have tests of Canon's new 400mm f/2.8, 500mm f/4 and 600mm f/4 our archive and they will be published here and at Lensfreaks.com in due time. In fact, the archive is gigantic and each review takes a a couple of hours to transfer to the webformat. So we advance slowly but steadily.

Best regards

Thanks for showing both extenders on the 300mm f/2.8 II. I do use them on the 7DII and 5DIII for bird photography, and your measurements confirm what I find in practice. The 300mm with the 2x at 600mm on the 5DIII is very sharp. The 1.4x at 420mm on both the 5DIII and 7DII is spectacular. 600mm on the 7DII is somewhat disappointing but quite good and much better than the Tamron 150-600mm, which I used to have. I get the best results from distant birds using the 5DIII at 600mm with the 2xTC, which is the best compromise between focal length and resolution. Keep up the great work!
